TapeBird

TapeBird is a growing archive of cassette tapes found somewhere, at some point in time. Nobody knows who recorded them or why they were left behind. Inside each tape are ordinary moments preserved on magnetic tape, like birds at sunrise, rain against a window, distant conversations, forests, passing trains, children playing, quiet rooms, and the constant hiss of the cassette itself. We simply restore them and share them so these moments can continue to be heard, one tape at a time.
